Using GAFE to Support Student-Centered Coaching

Student-Centered Coaching is a type of school-based coaching that focuses on the learning needs of the students and is a type of coaching that impacts teacher practice and student learning. Utilizing a student-centered approach, the work of the coach and teacher focuses on specific goals for student learning, which allows the coach to measure the impact of strategies used and leads to increased student achievement. In this session we will explore what student-centered coaching looks like at both the elementary and secondary levels from the perspective of a Digital Learning Coach. This session will also explore strategies for integrating Google Apps for Education, Google Web Apps and Add-Ons, and iPad apps to support the student-centered coaching work.
