Assessing Professional Learning Practices
An important piece of professional learning is evaluating the content, context, process and implementation of the learning. If you are in a coaching role, school or teacher leadership role, and would like to develop ways to support the evaluation and implementation of professional learning, this session is for you! We will review a variety of tools and practices for assessing professional learning while using Google Forms and other apps. We will provide participants with time to ideate and prototype an example of a tool for assessing professional learning.

The Motherload of Mapping (and Virtual Reality) Resources for Education
There are so many more applications for mapping in the classroom beyond just geography and history. What about language arts, math, science, business, art, foreign languages? In this session, I'll be sharing the motherload of mapping resources for education and beyond. We'll discuss Google Maps, Google Earth, and many great tools outside the Googlesphere. And now with so many VR additions with Google Cardboard and Google Expeditions, there are even more opportunities to integrate mapping and geography into any curriculum. Specific curriculum examples, activities and MOOC's will be shared that you can take back to your class the very next day.
